This was a very welcoming park and we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely love to return when we come back to Pennsylvania. Everyone in the office was kind and accommodating throughout our stay- Mike even took us around the park and helped us pick out a nice site that we liked. Josh and Olivia always met us with smiles in the office and helped us with anything we needed while we were there, whether it be propane or any questions we had about the park or places to see in the city.

The park is right next to a highway so you will have road noise. For us it turned into white noise and wasn’t a problem, but keep that in mind if you book- they tell you on the phone as well, so it should not be a surprise and is well worth the stay.

Great location overall! In walking distance is an awesome pizza shop and plenty of other things to do close in town. One of the few parks that actually had a vending machine, which we loved! I wish all parks had them. Other big cities are in decent driving distance as well and makes for a great place to stay and see some great parts of the state.

We love staying at this campground! Every staff member has been so kind & helpful to us. We are full-timers from Arizona and this has easily been the best park we have stayed at! It is quiet and laid back with a super convenient location. Laundry onsite is less expensive than the laundromat, with propane, firewood, clean showers, and storage on site if you need it. The staff genuinely care and really get to know their tenants!

This campground was perfect not just the location just al 23 minute drive to Hershey park/center! We were able to kayak the river that a boat launch was only 2 miles from the campground and able to sit in the river as planes land right over us. There la great food just down the road and you can grab the bike path 3 miles from the grounds! Campsite were super clean and well taken care of, super clean and up to date bathrooms and showers, and pool was a plus! But the price for the weekend you can not beat to have all of this at your finger tips! We plan on coming back!

This is an amazing campground. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are very clean. The pool is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. We stayed for a baseball tournament and needed to add a night. They were very accommodating. The sites were huge and very well kept. We will definitely use this place again if we come back to the area. Make sure you try the adult slushies at the liquor store at the bottom of the hill!

We called on short notice and were taken care of wonderfully. We needed to stay past the check-out time and they worked with us and were eager to help in any way they could. The gem is only 15 minutes from the Farm Show Complex and we will definitely be back.

Great place to stay for our weekend trip to visit the area. Easy on and off interstate. Easy access to campground and campsite. Level pull through. We had site 102. Power pedestals are lit nicely which was greatly appreciated since we set up in the dark. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Campground was clean and well kept. We mainly used the campground as a place to stay during our visit to the area, so we did not use any other accommodation there.

First time traveling in colder weather and it was cold, 24 degrees at night. The staff here was very nice and friendly, got us close to the bathrooms (which very nice and clean). Pull through sites for travelers, let them know ahead. Only drawback was the noise at night from the highway

Very well maintained and laid out campground. They have a pool with lots of chairs to sit on. The hookup spots for water, electric and sewage are all in good order. Would definitely stay here again. They provide a military discount which is much appreciated. The restrooms are clean.

Clean, safe and well run RV campground. Not a resort. We found it perfect for a few days of tourist stuff. Wifi was adequate, bathrooms were always spotless, and they accept Amazon deliveries for you. Nice place.

Over all this place is a 5/5 in my opinion for what I use it for. My wife and I have used this establishment numerous times over the last few years as both a stopover going to and from other destinations and when visiting my family who live in the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for everything from short overnight stays to extended stays. Everything is close and its very accessible. The bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly and though we have never used the pool, it looks very clean and well kept. The ONLY two negative things I can say about this place (and both are extremely minor) is road noise from 283 and the first few sites on the front row though they are generally level as you pull in, the first few sites tend to drop off significantly. There is not much that could be done about this as the whole campground is oriented on a very slight slope. But leveling is NOT a problem. I have had a few issues hooking up our 5th wheel (nothing major) but I blame that on a combination of having a pullrite auto slider hitch, the slight drop off and the biggest factor is probably me not getting set up correctly. As for the highway noise, I’ve never found it to be a problem and after about 20 min I don’t really even notice it.
Some people have complained about pricing, but if I’m honest, I think they are pretty fair given the area and what they offer (cleanliness, location and over all very pleasant and accommodating people who run it). I’ve stayed in other places that are much more expensive and offer less.

Bathrooms are meticulously clean. This is very conveniently close to many fun things to do in the Harrisburg area. We didn’t get a chance to go in the pool, but it looked very clean. It is close to the highway so you do hear some highway noise but it’s not that bad. The staff was friendly and nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice campground with long pull thru sites so you can just pull in, not unhitch and sleep through the night with the comfort of power and ability to put out slide and get a quick return to the road in the morning. Quick and easy access from I-81. Very helpful and courteous on the phone and left an easy to follow map to find my site after hours. Even though it was a full hook-up site only charged me for the 30 amp power when I told her that was all I needed to use. Will use again on my return trip in the spring. Sure beats Walmart!

Friendly staff, easy pull-through sites, with plenty of room, clean and spacious restroom with showers, pet-friendly, great value. Pizza/sub shop in easy walking distance, as was liquor store with literally hundreds of different, unique craft beers. Very peaceful, albeit with some highway noise. We camped at Harrisburg East Campground in a Motorhome.

Our spot was level and all the hook-ups worked well. Bathrooms were clean. Uber comes to the park; a plus since we don’t tow. We had an issue with one of our levelers not retracting. The office provided us with a list of mobile RV techs to call and the Maintenance man stayed with us almost the whole time trying to help us troubleshoot the issue. Happy to know they are year round… we will be back. We camped at Harrisburg East Campground in a Motorhome.

I stopped here after driving all day. The campground is conveniently located just off of Route 76. The site was level and pull through. The bathroom was impeccable. The young woman working in the office was very kind. I would definitely return here if I needed to stop in the area.

Perfect place at the right time! We had a deadline to beat and time sensitive conditions to meet & this campground supplied it all to us, including storage of our dolly and car! The location, staff & accommodations were just what we were looking for.
It was peaceful, lots of pretty green grass around & many shady trees to stay cool. The renovated bathrooms were clean, neat, pretty & a joy, especially compared to a few other places we had recently been to. The RV park/campground was renovated with so many nice touches. Even the dump stations at each site were so simple & clean! All the spaces I believe were pull through & so big & spacious. The RV neighbors were so friendly & nice, but it’s so great that everyone didn’t have to be on top of each other.
The staff were so sweet, pleasant, available, helpful, & eager to help us with anything. They even shared their produce from their garden with everyone! Thank you for the yummy, amazing fresh picked cucumber! Overall it was an enjoyable experience!! Thank you so much! We will be back again!

This is such a nicely kept campground! Level sites, beautiful landscaping and the best bathhouse I have ever been in – clean with fresh flowers and adorable boxes for feminine items provided. Will definitely stay here again when next in the area!
