Our park rules and guidelines are meant to make everyone’s stay safe and pleasant.
- Be a good neighbor and enjoy yourself.
- Check in time is 1:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am – late check-outs are permitted when available.
- The speed limit is 10 miles per hour. Please drive slowly and carefully for the safety of everyone.
- Quiet hours are 10:00 pm until 8:00 am. Courtesy must be shown to other guests. All children must be back at their campsite by 10:00 pm unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Offensive noise of any kind is prohibited.
- Do Not Dispose of anything other than septic safe Toilet Tissue into our system – No FLUSHABLE WIPES. No Discharging of Black (septic) water and/or gray (dish, bath) water on the ground by order of PA State Law. Airtight sewer boots are recommended.
- Please place your trash in the proper receptacle across from site 101. Place bagged rubbish into large blue dumpster and unbagged, co-mingled recyclables are placed into the smaller blue dumpster.
- Small campfires are allowed in fire rings at sites. All fires must be kept attended. Please do not move the fire rings and remember to put your fire out completely. Firewood is for sale at the office. Non-treated firewood should not be transported to or from more than 10 miles due to state quarantine from insect infestation. No defacing, cutting, or destroying live/dead trees or foliage.
- Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children. Children under 18 years old must stay with an adult. Please do not leave young children unattended.
- Bike-riding after dusk is prohibited and any child 12 and under must wear a helmet. Children are prohibited from riding bikes, etc. in front of and around the office due to high traffic. We lend assorted playground equipment-please see office staff.
- Pets must be kept quiet, on a leash and cleaned up after. No pets in any buildings, pool area or playground.
- Alcohol use is permitted at campsites when of legal drinking age. Excessive drinking, rowdiness, loudness, vulgarity, or creating a disturbance will result in ejection from the property without refund.
- Visitors must register at the office upon arrival and display a visitors pass in their vehicle. Unregistered visitors are not allowed to enter the premises when the office is closed. Visitors are welcome at no extra charge. Visitors can either park in the parking lot by the office or on the guest’s site. As a registered visitor, you acknowledge the acceptance of these rules and policies.
- Please do not walk through occupied sites or drive thru empty sites – use the roads.
- Please avoid use of generators.
- Golf Carts are permitted and must be insured. All operators must have a valid driver’s license.
- Pool rules are posted in the pool area. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Our pool is heated, and the hours are the same as office hours. Children under 16 need supervision. No smoking or vaping on the pool deck.
- No portable Hot Tubs or Pools.
- No firearms, fireworks, sparklers or explosives allowed.
- Laundry room code (24 Hour Access) – Provided at check-in Change is available in the office.
- It is expressly understood and agreed by you that Harrisburg East Campground is a privately owned campground and reserves the right to change the rules and regulations and evict anyone for non-compliance, and agrees to hold harmless to the campground, owners, and employees, from all claims, awards, damages, and attorney fees and costs related to accidents or injuries while on campground property. Campground facilities are used at your own risk. Harrisburg
East Campground is not liable for any acts of theft or vandalism, or for any damage caused by natural elements.
Campers and visitors who do not comply with the rules above will be required to leave the property and deposit moneys and fees will be retained as damage.
